Learn more about cameras
Cameras in one form or another have been around for a few centuries. They originated in primitive forms and are now available in film, digital and video formats and are even built into telephones and binoculars.
Cameras are essentially devices that are designed to shoot and record single or multiple pictures or moving images. Some cameras, such as instamatic and digital models, can produce an image in a matter of seconds. Cameras come in all shapes, sizes, weights, colors and designs. They are used by hobbyists and professionals alike. Cameras are used in just about all aspects of life and professions including medical, architectural, planning and designing, surveillance, intelligence, military, underwater, aerial, weather and journalism etc. Some cameras are only used once and then thrown away while others are antiques and are still operating after decades of use.
Cameras can be as large as boxes or as small as pens. Technology is advancing day by day and it's a good bet that new types of cameras will be introduced in the near future. Cameras can range in price from about $10 to several thousands.
