In digital photography there are various types of software you can use to transfer your images to a storage medium and also to manipulate the images. You can use software to download your images to a computer, disk or DVD. You can also use image editing software to remove red eye, enhance, crop, filter, stylize and do just about anything you could imagine to your photos.
Most digital cameras come with some form of software, but you can also buy additional programs. It would be a good idea to check what you have first before buying additional software. Some programs are quite thorough and you may need to take a course or follow their tutorials to master them.
You may also be able to download a free trial of some editing software online. Image editing software is often included free with your camera, scanner or printer or it can also cost up to several hundred dollars for a program.
