Film Cameras

Although digital cameras seem to be taking the world by storm, there will always be a place for film cameras. Many professional photographers feel that film cameras still produce higher quality photographs than their digital counterparts. Film cameras come in all shapes and sizes. There are point and shoot, compact models along with medium format and large format styles. There are also instant cameras and one time, throwaway or disposable versions. There are toy cameras and mini cameras, single lens reflex (SLR) and twin lens reflex (TLR), panoramic, pinhole and infrared cameras. And of course, with the right equipment you can take your film cameras with you underwater.

Film cameras are available for everybody, from the first time photographer to the seasoned veteran and professional as they come in manual and automatic versions. Cameras come in assorted materials, shapes, sizes, colors, styles and designs and take various size and type of film. You can buy a film camera from anywhere between $5 and several thousand.
