You can buy your lighting items and accessories for photography individually or you can buy them in prepackaged kits. The kits are less expensive than buying everything separately, but make sure your kit has everything you need in it as they may vary from store to store. Some of the items that may come in a kit may include battery belts, lights, filters, gel kits, diffusers, barn doors, screens, scrims, mounting studs and shoes, power adaptors, batteries, chargers, bulbs, ballasts, softboxes and connectors. Most kits come in carrying cases. Depending on how many accessories are included in the kit, they can range in price from about $50 to several thousand.
