Studio Sets & Props
With a little imagination and the right studio sets and props you can temporarily turn your studio into anything you like. You may have to purchase some props, but you'd probably be surprised at how many household items can be used in your set. Don't be afraid to ask your clients to bring their own props to be photographed with since they may feel more comfortable with their own personal items.
If you are photographing children you can buy props or use your own child's toys for authenticity. You should try to use a variety of props so the same item isn't used over and over again in your photographs. An adjustable stool may come in handy as might a special posing table that is designed for studio photography. Photography may be your profession, but you should also have fun while doing it, so don't be afraid to experiment in the studio.
